How standing is earned
Trust policy version 1. Each level includes everything below it.
Member
- Your membership grant and your acknowledgement of it are both on file.
- At least one of your relationships was witnessed in person.
Trusted neighbor
- At least 3 of your relationships were witnessed in person.
- Your relationships were witnessed at 2 or more gatherings or by 2 different neighbors.
- At least 2 trusted neighbors have vouched for you.
- You are within 3 introductions of the pod's founding members.
- Your relationships were witnessed by different people or at different gatherings rather than all by one (spread of at least 0.5).
Steward
- You were chosen as a steward through the pod's governance process.
- You have held Trusted neighbor standing for at least 180 days.
Anchor
- You are named as an anchor in the pod's governance documents.
- Permissions last 90 days and renew for as long as your standing holds.
- Your standing is never lowered before your current permissions expire.
- No government ID is ever required.
